Terms of Use

Acceptance of terms

By using this site, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree, that's fine, but please don't use the site.

Use of content

Everything on Drones of War (text, specs, images, analysis) is here for reference and educational purposes. We compile it from public sources and present it as an encyclopedic resource.

Link to us, reference us, quote us. That's all fine. What's not fine is copying large chunks of our content and republishing it without asking first.

Specs and performance data come from public sources and may not always be current or spot-on. Don't use them for procurement decisions, mission planning, or anything where being wrong has real consequences.

Accuracy and disclaimers

We do our best to get things right, but we can't guarantee everything is complete or current. Military data is tricky: some of it is classified, some comes from sources with an agenda, and the ground truth can shift fast.

The site is provided as-is. We don't promise it'll be up 24/7 or that every page is free of errors.

User accounts

If you have an editor or reviewer account, keep your login details safe. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account.

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules or are used in ways we didn't intend.

Advertising

We run ads from Google AdSense and occasionally from direct advertisers. We don't endorse the products or services shown in those ads. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and them.

We're not liable for what advertisers claim or sell.

Intellectual property

The Drones of War name, logo, and original editorial content belong to us. Manufacturer names and product designations mentioned on the site are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them for identification, not to imply any affiliation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using this site or acting on its content.

Changes to terms

We might update these terms now and then. When we do, the changes take effect straight away. Continuing to use the site means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the federal laws of Mexico (Estados Unidos Mexicanos).
